Review email notifications not coming through

I have enabled email notifications for my reviews, however have not received any emails. I have had many reviews in debuting since enabling this. Additionally, when I send myself a test review request, the website hyperlink links to www.example.com, or a 404 error on my domain. I cannot see any other settings to change which would affect the notifications.
